nevermind got a new keyboard!

I have a hard time finding programs that accurately report typing speeds, for some reason. Even "reputable" ones give me numbers that are completely BS. (200 wpm? Come on.)

Any suggestions? I must now know how I fare compared to my top speed in High School, as I now work on cars/work for a living. I will probably be horribly depressed, but eh - typing speed isn't everything.

Exactly.

What I would like to find is something that just constantly monitors your keyboard use throughout the day.
Measures every time you type, starting and stopping with you.

I'd be curious as to how I average out.

I mean, speaking my mind like this, I certainly type quite a bit faster than copying text in a normal test.
Not to mention things like programming!

The "closest" thing I've found is just called "WPM".
I've yet to find a website or anything for it, but I know it was apparently made by someone named "Stef Walter".
Regardless, it uh, gets the job done, you could say.
