Need help picking out a Laptop that'll do the job

So, I am quite frankly very new to the World of Computers and Have No idea on what kind of specs I need or really quite anything. I'm looking for a Laptop that is under $400 that can hopefully do the following just fine.
Play Five Nights at Freddy's 1 & 2 just fine
Run Emulators(Mostly N64) quite smoothly
Hopefully Be able to play some Gary's Mod, Portal, and Similar Games(I do not mind if they are at low settings just as long as I could play the games fine with little to no lag)(which i can get would be asking quite abit for a laptop..)
Do Some Video Editing
And Just Simple Youtube Video watching and Facebooking without too much lag.
I have no idea on what to be looking for with this, I have just gone around with what some laptops I have found with simular specs of those of online guides and I'm wondering if any would work for what I am looking for and if not, Could perhaps someone point me into the right Direction on with what I need.

Lenovo, ASUS, Toshiba, some Dells and some Acers are what you want. If you want to game, you need something with dedicated graphics unless you want significant compromises. The new Intel hd series isn't terrible, but it will prevent you from playing intensive titles. That's not to say it won't work (I started pc gaming on Intel hd 400). An AMD apu might be your best bet in terms of price to performance for gaming. Those chips actually have dedicated graphics integrated into the cpu die itself. You also may want to look at used or older models on your given budget. My Lenovo y510p can still game on medium to high even though it's almost 2 years old.

Will it be mainly stationary or moved around a lot? Cheapo laptops generally can't take much abuse. Business class laptops are built better and are usually easier to service. You can get one that's a year or two old used/off lease for under $400 pretty easy.

Also, never ever ever ever ever buy HP. You'll be lucky if you get one of their laptops through a year of use without problems. GF's craptop no longer detected the (internal) battery. They claimed it was water damage, but no liquids ever encountered it. Best friend also had a whole motherboard die on him out of warranty. At least the GF was able to argue her way into a replacement, but it's not worth the risk. They also like to slap a metric flaxton of programs onto the factory image.

A few years old but plenty beefy in a standard laptop chassis. No gamer gaudiness, and if you can find a dual GPU model under 500 get that. The single GPU is sufficient for mid range gaming, and the dual setup will behave something like a 560ti or a 470 in a desktop.

It'll Mostly kind of be Moving around, It'll be rather stationary at home, but will be coming from Home to School with me quite abit and Thanks for the tips, I did look around at the Lenvo y500 but it kind of looks abit out of my budget.... ..Did any of the ones I posted links of look like they'd work?
I really just want something for like N64 Emulators and School work and some Video editing, if it could play Portal and Shiz, it'd be super Cool....

If you want to just run emulators and source games, an Intel chip will work. The Dell on amazon doesn't look like a terrible choice.

Just about anything with Windows 8 should emulate N64 without a problem. Same with Portal. If you want to check if a certain laptop will play a game, Google the model and game title. Chances are, someone else has asked/tried. I would focus more on durability and features you want (SSD, touchscreen, etc), performance should be good enough.
