this is turning out great! but wouldnt the R and L buttons be really uncomfortable to press?

Shouldn't be. All will become clear once all the buttons are in and working.

Small update:

Have now intergrated memory pak slot:

Changed the batteries to more reliable ones as there was plenty of room to do so:

Started to solder the power wires/step down for the N64 mobo:

Looking good! I prefer the Z button on the right as well.

I don't get why people like the Z button on the right... It feels unnatural

Well I finally managed to find some time and finish up this project. Heres a small progress pic inbetween putting it all together but your now have to wait for a Youtube vid for the final product.

The Tri-Sixty Force is smaller, and MyMixed's N64p will be smaller yet.

Its about the same size as the Tri-Sixty Force and MyMixed N64p isn't even anywhere near finished.

Anyway, Nice progress Clarky! Looks very nice! Nice to see so much progress! Cylindrical cells seem to be coming back in style . I'm using them in my portable.

Thanks guys

I went of lion cells as its quite hard to get decent Lipos in the UK and batteryspace just want silly money to post across seas. Unfortunately the Lipo I was going to use in this portable died and refused to charge.

Anyway, the portable is now complete. I'm currently testing the portable before it gets sent off to its customer. I will be making a video before its shipped out. I'll hopefully have one done by the end of next week.
