Little trick to bypass the "No Disc Drive" error

I just wanted to share this little trick/glitch I found in the GC's menu.
When the GC startups without the DD board, it'll show an error.

To bypass this error do the following:
1. Start the GC.
2. Just before the menu (when the rotating animation ends but before when the menu music starts to play) press the reset button.
3. The GC will restart and there will be no error!

Credit goes to me. (OH I'D ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY THAT! :dahroll: :dahroll: :dahroll:)

Test if your controller and memory card work while you're doing a DD relocation?

If you restart it at any point it won't have an error....

Also, why would you ever want to do this?

I think he's planning on making a portable using either sdload or sdboot, which boots an sd card from a memory card slot

But those require a modchip anyways, so he would never have to do this as it loads an alternative boot screen...

I will be using the WiiKey Fusion mod in my portable.
This trick is ment for those who are bored and don't have a WiiKey yet.
It's also just a glitch for fun.
And you can't press it all the time.
If you press the reset button just after you powered the GC, It will give
an error directly after the rotating animation.
