I wanted an iPod Touch, but I want a camera and other iPhone exclusive stuff (besides calling and texting, I have a phone for that.)

Can you jailbreak an iPhone 3G for under $10? Is it difficult?

Can you still update your iPhone OS after you've jailbroken it? iPhone OS 4 looks promising.

Can you make it so you can go on wifi?

Jailbreaking is free. And easy.
No, you have to wait for someone to JB the next OS, then you can update to that JB.
You could do that before.

If you just want an ipod touch with a camera and no phone, wait for next gen.

The rumor mill of an ipod touch with camera is really full right now, and there's lots of evidence to support it.
