this is really interesting, will follow your progress. i am taking a much lazier approach to a similar plan by boxing an existing m11x but your plan looks more future proof.

The PC came in the mail. It is tiny but a bit heavy. However the weight is from the metal casing around it. I'm gonna have to make sure I don't run into heat issues with this build. The heat sink is thick and looks nice (I almost want to try one on a gamecube).

I have the RAM but waiting on the SSD from ebay now.

Will work on some casework soon. Pictures to come I promise.

Working on the case now. It is turning out very nice. I am worried about the battery life though so I might do some changes... Will update soon
