Does a harddrive work for making porables(I'm sure it does, Just wandering if it works for older systems)? If so which is best(overall cost, quality, one that isn't ball-less, JK about that, but one that won't just fail on you after a little while)

Well, actually, ps2, original xbox, and wii can, but they aren't used often.

I thought there was some kind of 3rd party peripheral for the Dreamcast that you could use to hook up your HDD.

Obviously the 360 and PS3 Have HDs, lol, but you can't hook up a HD to an NES.

But it's impossible as *Can'tSayThisOnTV* and would require a ton of programming/ engineering of some sort of circuit to convert all the memory format junk and stuff.

Naw, it exists. I have a MicroSD to USB host converter, it could be used with the GC SD loader to hook up a USB HDD. Of course, the SD loader compatibility sucks, so no real point.
