basically, I've wanted to get a hand oh a bunch of wavebirds so I could map the traces on them, and I'm interested in this, but the price is nearly $70 to ship them to Australia, rather than the $15 to ship it to the US, anyone wanna go parts in buying these with me?

having broken ones means I can practice with a hot air set-up without worrying about breaking the components., so this is a good deal for me.

looks like the seller set a reserve price or something, went to bid and was automatically outbid.

That's not a reserve. That means the person who bid before you bid higher and when you bid his higher bid automatically outbid you.
