GC controller rumble not working

The rumble feature on one of my controllers isn't working.
I've desoldered the motor and tested it on a different controller and it works perfectly.
Have also checked the board for broken connections/components etc. and everything seems fine.

Could it be a damaged logic chip? Everything else on the controller is working

Any ideas?

Are you getting any voltage on the motor output when it's supposed to rumble? Check with a multimeter.

Nope, just a small ripple for a split second

Well, the motor isn't driven right off the logic chip. There must be a transistor somewhere in between. Maybe that's blown. I don't know the specifics of GC controllers, sorry.

Yea there's some transistors in the bottom left corner of the board which I've traced to the 5V line.

Will try to replace them and see what happens
