GameCube not Powering on

The wires I am using are about 22 AWG. I seriously have no idea about the whole static electricity thing. I try to ground myself by touching something metal like a screw driver before I mess with any motherboards. Maybe that doesn't even work. Seriously not sure what else I should try... Starting to get pretty frustrated haha.

Which board revision are you using? Rev A, B, C

PAL or NTSC?

The board is NTSC definitely not Rev C, how do I tell the difference between A and B?

For anyone following this thread, I finally resolved this issue of not being able to power the GameCube on. It turns out the 1.9v line uses a lot of current. Once I added 2 more wires to the 1.9v line, the GameCube powered on just fine.
