GameCube Disc Cover Lid Sensor Help!

Hey Guys, Its me again and I was wondering if i can bypass this disc lid cover sensor on the GameCube.

My sensor on it broke and fell off , so the GameCube always thinks the lid is open when its actually closed.

Well it *should* just be a simple switch.
Bridge/Jump the wires, it should be permanently "closed" that way.

Wait so to bridge it u mean i have to get the two blue wires from the plug and connect the 2 wires to each other? Please correct me if im wrong.

But you won't be able to use multiple disc games

Yeah, No Multi-disc games on it now.I found the solution to the problem though and bridged the wires together.
I am Planning on making a GameCube Portable So that will come in handy.
