Gameboy color flash cart?

They exist somewhere don't they. I'm currently in the process of tricking out my gameboy color with a light, paint job, and rechargeable battery. But it doesn't seem complete without some sort of flash cart I can put roms on.

Are there any out there?

The GB/C flash carts on nonelectronics.com are very robust, I have a few. I suggest them.

Oh and soon you'll be able to buy my backlit biverted GB Pockets from them!

Jlee's awesome (*Can'tSayThisOnTV*ing) guide to buying a Gameboy Flashcart

Most Important Thing: You gotta ask yourself what you'll be using it for!

LSDJ, I R A MUSICIAN!
Then a plain-ol' BleepBloop USB Cartridge will do you just fine!
These things hold 16M, which means many commercial ROMs won't fit.
But that won't matter if you're using this for LSDJ.
$70

BleepBloop Carts are Expensive!!!
Yeah, I know. But it's not like they're being made by a huge company, they're not mass-produced by the tens of thousands.
Deal with it.
If you must, you can try a SmartBoy Cartridge, which actually holds twice as much as a BleepBloop Cartridge.
At 32M, it'll hold any commercial ROM.
$50

I wanna play games!
Grab yourself a Smart Card from EMS.
Old Smart Cards aren't terribly hard to find, but sometimes they can be unreasonably priced, often claiming "Rarity".
But why bother with those? You can buy their USB 64M Smart Card brand-spanking-new!
It's one of the only cards that has (native) support for multiple roms, and at 64M, it'll hold ANY commercial game.
KEEP IN MIND THOUGH! These things are known to have serious driver issues!
However, you can get around this by using an old EMS "Transferer II", still available, and totally stable.
$40

For any of this, I recommend two places above all others:
http://store.kitsch-bent.com/
http://www.nonelectronics.com/catal...Path=2&zenid=b54fe49ab9c28ca36063e603674744bc

But why would I buy anything but that EMS Smart Card? It's cheaper than the others, and apparently does more!!
Well, first of all, let's scratch that "Cheaper" thing.
If you get one of these, and you have driver issues, you're in for a big, long, grueling experience.
To avoid that, you get a Transferer II, which is about $25.
That brings this thing's cost to more like $65.
Well it's still way better than the others for the Cost!! Why would I get anything else?!
Do you support piracy? Do you support Nintendo? Do you love your country?
EMS condones piracy, and designed the Smart Card with Piracy in mind.
The SmartBoy? It isn't even the design of the company who makes it! They used some old plans that were released FREE by some guys years ago. Of course they support Piracy.
What about BleepBloop? He made his carts too small for many games. He also made them with LSDJ support in mind. He does not condone Piracy, at all.
If you don't support Piracy, buy a BleepBloop cart.

Or, whatever. cigarette.

The EMS card is the worst one ever designed. It has horrible power issues that result in unusability on a stock GB Pocket.

Piece of flax.

Works perfectly in my GB Pocket, and my brothers as well.

Well I was looking for one because gameboy color games are way overpriced on ebay. Oh well.

It's a well-documented problem. My text also won't get any bigger.

I have a 32M smartboy cart and a bleepbloop usb cart, both work well and are made well. Never order a cart from jose torres (bleepbloop). He lost my order and would not reply for months, and when he finally sent the cart it arrived without the cd or usb cable.

Jose's cart from nonelectronics.com will be fine, though.

How in the *Can'tSayThisOnTV* was that flaming?
We were discussing a problem related to EMS carts.
It's not even a fraction of an argument at this point.

Odd, this is the first I've heard of it. I'd love to see some references, read up on it a bit.
Also, do you know if it affects all EMS carts? Just old ones? Just the new one?

I think he thinks that you were flaming me for supporting piracy and not supporting nintendo. Still I don't think it's supporting nintendo anymore when they don't make these games and sell them anymore.

There is only one game that I can think of right now that I would download before I would buy it.
Trip World. Gimmick! too, but that's for NES. Oh how I want both games. :(
