Well, first off, the newer REV board don't have any solderpads where the second ship would go, So you would have to literally piggyback it to get it to work.

I'm almost certain that your RAM would overheat quite quickly. Considering that doing that would run all the heat from the bottom chip through the top chip and then its only heatsink would be the top chip itself, + whatevers on top.
Your best option is to get an older board, with the two ram chips, and then just do what I said and bend then off, then solder the new ram on, that way you can actually heat sink it.
