Ebay 3.5" screen black and white then not working

i just managed to power my 3.5" ebay screen with a gamecube cable, but when i plugued it onto my wii i noticed it worked fine, but the image was black and white.
and then i wanted to try it on smthing else so i did, but even before i could i noticed the screen started going all white even though there was nothing on AV, something that et didn't do before.
So i got scared and tried it on my wii again, and all i got was a black screen

please help, have i fried it? is 12V too much? it shouldn't be...

please help ... i had color once and now it continues going blank, sometimes dark... is there something wrong with the backlight maybe?

The Backlight wouldnt cause Color to Black and White. It still could be broken though. When it is dark, look closely and see if you can see a picture, or shine a flashlight at it and check then. If you can see a picture, its the backlight.

The screen I think has a regulator so 12v should be fine.

Well if it works on your gamecube, but not on the Wii, it must be something with the Wii.
Have you tried testing it on the gamecube again?

Maybe the pal/ntsc switching messes up sometimes :S
