Doing stuff with our own threads?

I was wondering if it would be possible to lock our own threads, or maybe other powers within our own threads. Of course maybe having 100 posts to gain these powers so you know how the forums work.

Bad Idea. I've seen this go wrong on many forums. People begin to be condescending and abuse power in their own threads, as well as create threads just so that they will be the thread starter and have control over said thread.

I've never seen problems with members being able to lock their own threads, but any other power would have far too much potential for abuse.
