Custom Paintjob Case

So I still have the case (in quite excellent condition) from the n64 my mobo is from. I was thinking of giving it a really nice and sleek black/blue paintjob, make it look really nice, and sell it for a little bit of $ toward my portable. I was wondering how much $ I could expect to get for a case like that?

Depends on the quality of the paint job. It can be simple, or intricate.

Quality and time spent are a factor sure, but I'm pretty sure demand dictates the final price no? You could have a very elaborate, beautiful and flawless paint job on ANYTHING but if nobody is interested in it, how are you going to sell it? Lets say you have a design airbrushed on a trumpet carrying case, and that same design airbrushed on a Harley gas tank. Material and labor cost is identical but which one do you think is going to sell for more?
