Joey's cells are.

But have you ever seen real 18650 cells? D: they're big, man. really big compared to joey's.
Im using joeys so why is this relevant?

Re: Bush's N64p

Just wondering, would anyone be interested in buying this if it turns out well? I dont plan on using epoxy this time around, just a drill and dremmel for holes. If it turns out right, it should be one sexy beast, and tiny too.

Re: Bush's N64p

Clarky I dont have anything yet but I will order some things today. Once again, would anyone buy this if it turned out well/make this a commission?

Re: Bush's N64p

I don't think I've seen an n64p from you yet, is this your first one? It may be fairly difficult to look for commission work until you have something to give people an idea. You might just be better off waiting until you have something to show for this one.

Good luck!

Re: Bush's N64p

Good point. I did try once earlier, but had a pre fried board.

Re: Bush's N64p

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

Joey's cells ARE standard 18650 cells!

WAIT

BAD NEWS EVERYONE

BUSH MAY NEED TO GET DIFFERENT BATTERIES (gasp)(!)

HEY THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR

Re: Bush's N64p

You can try it I guess, but I don't think they'll fit well without making the thing mega-thick :p

Wait a minute..... Maybe. depends where you put them. If you take the n64, lay it flat against the bottom, and have the jumper/expansion pak sitting up, then put the batteries on top of some copper sheet heatsinkage, so the whole thing might be close to flush. It might work.

Re: Bush's N64p

He had the cart-slot relocated as well, so that will need to be in and around that area too...

Re: Bush's N64p

What? Who had the cart slot relocated? what are you talking about?

If you mean the trisixtyfource, that cart slot isn't relocated. :/ It just sticks out the end of the case.

Re: Bush's N64p

Ah, link?

Then you might be able to stick some batteries at each end, where your hands go on the outside.

Re: Bush's N64p

SS is trimming a board to trisixtyfource size and relocating the cart slot. The dimensions of the case are 6x4.620x1". I didnt want the cart slot sticking out, so i found a case that was a little more than a half inch longer. Ill link it later. It should also give me room for two batteries in that space.
