Those common 3.5" ebay screens can have the brightness/color adjusted, plus the image flipped.

I'm not sure what the pins labeled "NONE" do, I think pin 11 turns off the backlight, or I could've been shorting it.

"loop in scrolling" means that if you were to press "Brightness +" until it got to the max setting, it would reset to the lowest at the next press.

This is useful.

Didn‘t limpport on BH discover this?

Anyways, glad to have it here where it is easy to find.

It's for number 2 of Hailrazer's review. Since that's what a lot of people use I assumed it was the same.

what do you mean by short ground ? do i have to put 3/5/7's ground to that big round pin, or do i have to connect the black wire on the left side of the board to this big round pin on the corners of the screen?
What about the "voltage" pin, do i have to connect the red wire to that pin?

I have one of the these screens that doesn't have the solder pads so I had to figure them out on my own. The 14pin-sop chip that isn't labeled controls most of the functions I think so far I have found pins 5/7 control brightness/contrast and I also found a demo mode wich is enabled with pin 12. Im gonna keep looking around the board too as I need the flip function. Also I forgot to mention I think it was pin 10 that gave me a "fat" mode it made the resolution all funky. Ill also upload a video of the "demo" funcion in a little.
