Wiikey Alternitave?

could the item in the image be used as an alternitave to the wiikey fusion? i wanted to use it in my portable because it's less expensive. but i'm not sure if it will work as a replacement for the wiikey fusion seeing as it requires a disk to operate. also, if anyone has experiance running/modding the "Datel SD Media Launcher" please let me know.

you would need to keep the dvd drive. you can't do homebrew and takes up much more case space.

only if you want to use a dvd drive could this option be used...
you are better off using a WKF in a portable to eliminate the additional battery draw of a DVD drive

i think you will find a WKF to be a cheaper alternative / comparative alternative for the same price except a WKF will have much less draw and better compatibility results than SDML
