What kind of screw is this? (6 pointed star)

I just started taking apart my PSP but found some strange screws I have no way of removing. The drive slot is not philips, but rather a 6 pointed star, and they are really, really small!

I think they may be Torx, but I need to figure out what size they are. I am guessing they are T1 (the smallest possible size) or in other words 0.8 mm.

please go here to see a picture of the screw (it's in the 6th post)

The pic is blurry but it is hopefully good enough to determine its size. (because of the USB slot)

That's almost certainly a Torx bit. I'd go to the store and get a precision screwdriver set that includes Torx bits. It'll basically be the most useful thing you'll ever get.

when I type in "screwdriver torx" on DX.com I get 103 results

so its a matter of choosing which one. I guess I should pick a set with multiple sizes to reduce the chances of having it finally arrive only for it to be the wrong size. But I want to be absolutely sure it will include the size I need.

After searching on google, seems like it's a t2 screw, but you can just go to a hardware store with your psp and ask if you can try the screwdriver to have to good size.

This ebay listing mentions PSP!

So I guess it is a T2 after all?

I google "torx screw on psp" (dunno why I had not thought of doing that) and I see T2 coming up a lot. So I guess it is a T2.

edit: I may get it from dx.com simply so I can order the UMD drive at the same time.
