In my early days as a portablizer wannabe I stumbled upon this video during my endless youtube sessions, I'm sure some of you have seen it as well.

The video made me think, what happens when you put a nintendo 64 game in a wii? The question lingered in my mind since, and I realized I had to build it. So I did.

It's a Nintendo 64 inside a Wii case :tophat:

It uses this circuit for the soft on off power button. Latching power switch uses momentary pushbutton

Video of it in action (Snackar svenska så ni fattar nog inte) https://youtu.be/GlwDOCAAss4

Very interesting mod! I like how you kept the wii case all original even using the hinges

Thanks guys!

Yeah, making the hinges work took some time, before I used the pieces of plastic that originally held them in place. Otherwise the hardest part was the soft on off switch, but mostly because I didn't really know what a transistor was :p

Transistors are life-changing, aren't they?

This is pretty slick. If I ever wanted an N64 console hooked up to the TV again, I'd want it in a case like this. Good work.

If it weren't for transistors, I wouldn't know any of you.
Probably would have been a better life, tbh.
