In a nutshell this system does it all. You can switch the audio real time between upgraded audio and default. The machine is wired to mix the powerpak audio properly into both default and upgraded audio circuits. On the back you have rgb + sync wired into a sega genesis av port, a s-video jack, and a stereo headphone jack.

1, what's the empty 32 pin ic socket for?

2, are you using a 8mm cassette style camcorder to film this? (just wondering)

1: Uhm do you mean the 40 pin connector on the solder side of the upgrade kit? The upgrade kit is designed for an av famicom it's meant to plug into a socket where the ppu used to be. The kit wouldn't fit in a toaster this way so I installed the rgb ppu where the composite ppu used to be and routed the rgb, sync, power and ground to the kit with wires. The 40 pins sticking out the bottom of the kit are meant to plug into a socket where the ppu normally goes to get all of those signals.

2: I'm using a samsung 8mp digital camera...
