Need Ideas for a TI-84 Plus Mod!

Ampersand

Lightbulbs are awesome!
So far here's what I've got:

Paint flat black, stencil it cool like.
Backlight it (if possible, I haven't cracked it open yet).

Any other ideas? I was also thinking about adding a small speaker and having it beep when you press buttons, but I'd have to check out how key input on the board works before determining if it is possible.

Cool? y/y

I'd forgo the speaker, but backlighting and stenciling sounds awesome. Also, rechargeable Li-ion battery.

Oooh rechargeable batteries would be great. And :O Maybe I can pull the power for charging from the +5v pin on the USB port, so I don't need to add another port and possibly uglify my case!

I have one of these. (the silver one)

It may be backlight-able, but I find it easier to frontlight it with a GBA SP frontlight. Saves time.

Too bad I took the frontlight out for a GBC I got from zet.

Then borke3d it.

::3:

When painting the front, don't forget all the silkscreened button labels for 2nd and Alpha functions.

I've been working on my TI-84+ SE, I would have been finished with my painting and everything except I've been too lazy to buy a higher grit sand paper than what I have.

It's in a Black Mesa theme, and I was going to make an external frontlighting apparatus instead of flat-out frontlighting it.
