First Gamecube Portable Question

Ok, I have decided to research further on making a gamecube portable, but I have some questions first
Well first off I'm making it out of a case of a portable dvd player because its gonna be like a gamecube advance
1.Are the batteries ok to use? They are 2100 mah and 7.2 v

First, if this is your first portable, I highly recommend a different console. Gamecubes can be tough.

Second, if this is something you are committed to doing, I suggest you start your own worklog that way you can ask questions and they are all in the same thread.

Third, yes those batteries would work but you may want batteries with more amperage. 2100 mAh will not give you the battery life you would seek in a Gcp.

Read the stickies for information regarding details on gamecubes, and it doesn't hurt to give it a quick google search before asking.

Would you suggest a N64 portable for my first? If so, would these batteries work for an N64

If you a SNES readily available, I would do that. Challenging but easier and you will learn a lot of the basic information that will help you in future projects. However, n64 is doable.
