DX dingoo batteries

No, those are big, especially for their mAh rating.
Try looking for 5000+ mAh on batteryspace.
You'll need 11.1V (or 3 x 3.7V) for a PS2, plus a regulator, 11.1V charger, and 11.1V protection circuit.

okay, the ps2 won't run of 7,2 volts, and 9.6 will fry it?
(what a sensible little ***)
how about those dvd player batteries mentioned somewhere?
they have a fixed 9v output, will this fry stuff?

That would be good,
what revision is that?
I've got a 77004 pal ps2.
does this one work?
And what mah rating would you advise?
my screen uses about 250 ma.

also, do you know what the max. voltage is?

honestly the best way to test if your ps2 will run off 7.4v is to just put 7.4v and see if it's turning on/causing any problems. undervolting your board won't hurt it in any way.

My variable adapter has a max. output of 1A at that voltage,
so the light turns red but if you press the button it goes off again.
So I believe that my power supply can't handle it..

I could possibly try a psone adapter, I guess.

well, I'm going on vacation for a few weeks now, so I won't reply.
