Display problems

My compaq nc6320 display will turn white during youtube videos. I've tried updating the drivers for the display and for the graphics card. Neither time an update is found. Before I've even backed up my hd and reformatted. I've done a virus check to make sure it wasn't that. I don't want to go to a repair shop because the ones in my town are too expensive. I'd appreciate it if someone could help.

Does it happen on other video sites? Flash files in general? What if you use a different browser?

desmin- It's not a bad screen.
bic- Other sites work fine. It's not flash files because I have tons with realplayer and they work fine. I didn't check another browser yet. I really don't want to though because I like firefox so much. But I don't think it would hurt to use chrome or something just for youtube. I'll try it.
