Atari flashback 3 max voltage

hey i was wondering if anyone knows the max voltage that the atari flashback may handle as i am planning to power it off of a 7.4 volt power supply that may be closer to 9v when fully charged and i was wondering if it can handle that. yes i know before anyone says that the flashback 2 ran off 9v but the flashback 3 was/is designed to run off 5v. Thanks!
