3DS Shoulder Button Problem

My friend opened up his 3DS to fix a problem he was having with his 3D switch, and stupidly enough, he ripped a ribbon cable connecting to the little circuit that handled the left shoulder button. now there's three incredibly tiny pins on an IC that I could possibly solder onto, and some larger points on the other side of the board, would this be a viable solution for fixing it, and would i be able to track down which is which through my multimeter on such tiny connections? Thanks <3

That's up to you to decide. I don't see what you're talking about since there are no pictures or anything, but if you're just reconnecting 3 wires and you feel that it is within your skill level to attempt, then go for it. Don't say I didn't warn you though. I imagine they are pretty tiny connections.
