Harder to see as it's not as clear as the SP front light panel.

Yes, it would be nice to have the skills which is pretty simple to do. The switch, you'll need to find a pretty small spdt switch like Rose Colored Gaming has which is hard to find. Radio shack has some small ones, but still a tad big when you put it in the GBA console. Unless you order those...

I converted it into a GBA file, but it appears a message saying that this game can only be played on GBA/GBC console when it is being. Weird though. I tested on a VBA and after it's been transfered into my EZ Flash IV cart.

Have anybody use Goomba before? I want to convert some GB/GBC roms to GBA, so I can transfer the GBA roms into my EZ Flash IV I just bought. There's a hacked Pokemon Red Color which is why I wanted to convert for EZ Flash.

Yup. No back light for GBC. Though awesome for the GBAs.

3v is not what kills the front light, and its actually the correct voltage to light it up. Its the 5v that the GBC uses that kills it which needs the 47 OHM resistor in series to lower it down some.

I'd try Ebay for the flash card. It's definitely worth front lighting the GBC. Best part is when you can enjoy playing it in the dark like never before.

To help others out after front lighting their GBC, you might have cartridge issue such as not being able to go past the "Game Boy Nintendo" logo at the beginning. It'll just freeze there and won't load at all even after you blow the cartridges and cartridge slot on the GBC. Mine wouldn't load at...

Thanks. I think you mean front light the Game Boy Colors? When you say backlighting, I'm thinking of the AGS-101 GBASP LCD screen. From what I read and researched, you can't backlight the GBC. Unless, someone has already accomplish that.

I just pick this thing up for $14.50 off Ebay. First mod I did was the 3mm green LED I picked up from Radioshack. The mod wasn't too hard, de-solder while pulling out the old one and re-solder the new one in. Now I'm waiting for my new atomic clear purple shell casing and the broken GBASP...

Just google up the tutorial on how to front light a GBP and they'll point out where ground and power is then just tap the wires to those points for them to lit up, but I would use a resistor just to be on the safe side.

Nice! I already swap the stock LED for a green one. Looks different and better. Just waiting on my new shell casing and a GBA SP I got off Ebay for cheap so I can rip the front light and speaker out for my GBC. Hope to get it done within next weekend.
