WVI of sorts

What do most people use to convert AV signals to RF in WVI's? The reason I'm asking is, I want to make a little WVI thingy (don't really even know what it stands for. Wireless Video Interface?) that has a 1/8" input on the transmitter and 2 1/4" adapters on the receiver. This is so my roomate and I can have flax play our music on my mixing board around the room wirelessly.

Of course I'd like to get the best audio quality possible, but I'm on a fairly tight budget. Any ideas?

To the best of my knowledge, most folks use 2.4ghz wireless composite boxes. They're relatively cheap, generally under $100. However, the quality is not the greatest, as you would expect. If you are only planning on doing audio, though, there's plenty of wireless transmitter/reciever sets out there. This one is on sale at the moment.
