This has probably been done before. But since I couldn't find it I wanted to document it for future use :)

These are pics of the Sony PS1 Scph9001 motherboard versus the Sony PsOne motherboard.

Still can't believe how small it is. 7 1/2" x 3 5/8"
The PsOne is 6 3/4" x 5"

And yes with slight trimming it will fit in an Ag85 case :)

Isn't the optical drive bigger, though? And while on the topic, what voltages does it need?

No the optical drive is the same as the Psone.

It needs 7.4v and 3.3v. But it uses less power overall.

im ore confused about the psone mobo. i have encountered only 1 that looks like that, and its annoying. it wont overclock like a regular one will.

I got my PSOne today and I am VERY surprised how small it is. Surprised not many PS1 portables have been made.

I was going to make one when I first started this stuff but then I kinda reversed the voltage on my psone and I saw smoke lol

Where do you replace the fuse on the PSONE Mobo? Mine wont turn on at all for some reason. and its not modded.
depends on the board revision. pics or gtfo :awesome:

Sry, No Pics But the model is SCPH-101 and the motherboard revision is PM-41 (2).
The PSone wont turn on at all as if there is no power going into it.

Thanks.
