xbox av cable sensor bypass

I can't figure out how to make an xbox run without the av cable. I bridged pins 17 and 5 but that didn't work. Am I missing something blatantly obvious here?

Flash the TSOP or your chip with the X2 5035 bios, that`ll allow you to run it without the A/v cable attached.
