will this battery work?

I got this universal portable dvd player battery and i just want to make sure they will work for a GCp.
input is 12v
output is 9v

Theoretically yes; however, you'd need a custom reg and battery life would probably be crap. What is the mAh rating on it?

So you bought it and now you're checking if it'll work? Not exactly the best way to do things.

Looks like its 6600mAh, which is good, should give you a few hours depending on your regulators and screen. Just not sure if its the smallest/cheapest option.
