Wiikey Fusion instead of Wii Disk Drive

Hi,
I am making a wii laptop and it is nearly complete but....
I have just one question....
Can I use Wiikey Fusion instead of the whole disk drive?
Cause the disk drive is pretty Large.

Yes wiikey fusion is a drivechip

Plug the DVD drive cable from the wii to the WKF host slot.
