Here's my brand spanking new baby:

I also have a drill press, a table saw, a bandsaw, a scrollsaw, a mini lathe, a belt sander, a disc sander, a miter saw, tons of drills, cabinets full of hand tools, and the works. Also like 4 more soldering irons.

How about you guys?

Until health reasons banhammered me from mechanical work, I was a small-time mechanic for a couple years. Got a couple $5K Craftsman toolboxes full of crap I don't use anymore. I think total insured value is somewhere in the $15-$20K range.

Air tools, hand tools, various shop tools (no wood or metal working tools unfortunately,) compressors, tanks, you name it.

A really nice Weller WP25 soldering iron, cheap crappy Dremel clone, cheap set of files, small but nice cordless drill. Wish I had a vise...

Look out at garage sales, I got mine for $5 at one. We got lots of our tools at garage sales or on craigslist.

1 router, 3 miter saws, 1 table saw, 1 drill press, 1 bench grinder, 4-5 drills (corded and battery), 3 circular saws, 3 jig saws, 2 power planes, 1 dremel tool, 1 band saw, 3 soldering pens, two soldering guns, 3 heat guns, and that's basically it for power tools. I've got a 115lb anvil, a 85lb anvil, a coal/charcoal forge, and a 25lb anvil vice, 3" jaws, 7" gap. I also have a treehouse with a pulley in it. BOOYAKA.

It pays to have a handywoman for a mom.
