Using an SD card as an N64 Memory Card

I just want to know if you can use a SD card as a Nintendo 64 Memory Card. Like you can with a gamecube. I have read the stickies and never saw anything saying yes, no, or even mentioning this.

No. And you can't use an sd card as a memory card on a Gamecube. The sd card is used to hold the games on the Gamecube if you are using a Wiikey Fusion.

You can buy an Everdrive or a 64Drive and play games from an sd card on the N64 though.

Actually that's a guide to make a home made SD Gecko. Its for loading homebrew. You CANNOT use an SD card as a GameCube memorycard.

Like everyone else said, there is no way afaik to do this on a regular gamecube.

Also can this be performed on a nintendo memory pak? So that the battery is not needed? Would it be the same, lifting that one pin? I don't currently have my stuff (Memory card, n64, controller, game to use it with) so I can't test....
