Interesting, what's even more interesting is that this is your first post, only a few of the pictures aren't showing up.

Oh well. We've all had that problem. Oh, and before I forget; Welcome to Mod Retro!

..lets hope that your project turns out to be 10 times better than any of mine, and I'm sure it will...i guess.

haha thanks ive been posting on the haunted 360 and moddedbybacteria forums just decided to post on modretro so more people can help me with my stupidness haha.

the pics show up fine for me its a lot of pics it might just be the internet.

lol. When I started I was working on a portable gamecube, but the turned to crap really fast....but oh well, since then I've been perfecting my portable ps2, it could still be better. Cases are a hasstle to get right, at least for me. So anyway, yeah, I'm sure ur zephyr64 will shock the the world when it does finally come out, so keep it up! :dahroll:

They're hosted on Bac's site, which most of us don't have access to. try one of these sites:

Yeah, that's a good point. That way we could see your project too.

I fried my previous board with a little bit of solder stuck to the rcp lines it twas a sad day.

its a screen from an old FUNtv i got at Sam's Club a long time ago it works good.

cart slot relocation fail #4. :evil2:

soldering iron broke ...fail :cry4:

sigh....failure of a day. :cry4: :(

are pins 4 and 1 supposed to be bridged on mobo 3 for the power.

Keep trying! Also, I love that you've got Goemon's Great Adventure. Awesome game. Interesting screen choice. The colors look like they're dead-on.

Frying N64 boards is too easy... If only there were any 3rd party N64 clones, like the FC1...

started on the case today pics tomoro also getting soldering equipment tomoro so i can not fail at a cart slot relocation.

half of my cart slot is relocated i will be posting pics of the case and cart slot relocation hopefully this time (5th) the cart slot relocation will work!

the case is looking good i mounted the A and B buttons and im going to mount the tact switches soon!!

If your having problems with solder dripping onto pins, then get yourself a good desoldering iron($9 at ratshack) or some desoldering braid.

IGNOREETH MY SUCCESS!!!!

I finally relocated my cart slot and it worked!!!!

everything is working good now my case is coming together nicely!!

which is better L,R, and Z on the top or the back

I used wire out of a Cat 6 cable i think thats what it was. the wire is 26 awg. but is pretty stiff as you can see it supports the cart ....

PICS (of epicness)

I also made an extension cord for my n64 that i play on!!

edit: the pics were huge so i linked them (thanks Budnespid)

i pushed the wire down after encasing the joints in glue and lays really flat so the stiffness shouldnt be a problem ive made the hole for the joystick in my case and i want to know which position for the start button is better....
