woah, didn't realize it's been awhile since i've updated here. guess much improvement hasn't been made though anyway haha.

so the other day i wired everything up and got it all packed away neatly, but the video wouldn't work. i just got a white screen. i've been digging around old threads on mbb, benheck, and here for a few days now and pretty much what i've come up with is that the video isn't connected right, or the psone screen isn't getting enough power.

also, i know the n64 board is fine because i unwired the screen and hooked up composite out jacks to it and then plugged those into my tv -- worked great.

anyway, the video is hooked up correctly, so is ground (i've checked like a million times). and the batteries are charged. could it be a problem with the orange-ish colored ribbon cable from the lcd to the screen mobo?

any help would be lovely, thanks!

Yeah, try relatching the ribbon cable. If that doesn't help, I'd try hooking up composite to another point

thanks man, that's the diagram i've been using but i'll just check my wiring again just for good measure i'll reattach the ribbon cable and see if that helps, too.
