1.8 server now up! It's all new aside from the SSity of Beta, so you all should get building. Watch out for endermen- block damage is off, but player damage is most definitely on. Read the information at spawn!

That flat area spawn is on? Don't build there. Everything else is fair game.

I am going to try to clean it up, but I am annoyed. Turn off /give; people can't handle it.

Just ban common greifing blocks from being able to be used. I'm surprised you haven't already.

Well, it's not like I have access to the server. Beta's pub is basically burnt to the ground. Fires and creepers destroy flax. :U

Upgrading to a pre-release that not everyone has when it was just recently updated to 1.8 is a really bad idea.

Due to recent griefing (and if you're reading this, griefer, we have logs and flax and you're a dumbass) we are going to move to a whitelist. If you're not on this whitelist you can still join the server, you just won't be able to build anything, but you can still walk around.

Also having not been restarted in several weeks, the server finally updated to its new IP (and that's a whole 'nother hellish story) so minecraft.modretro.com might take a teeny while to update to that.

EDIT, 8 PM 10/19: Server still down because *Can'tSayThisOnTV* everything. Working on it, still.

EDIT, 11 PM 10/19: So, when your friends migrate a DHCP server, make sure they turn the old one off. Minecraft should be up shortly.
