I have some questions about the Wii
1. What are the dimensions of the motherboard and DD?
2. What is the mA pull and voltage requirements (I think it's 12v)

None of us have the disposable income to tear apart Wiis left and right. You can ask Tchay about the dimensions of the board. I believe Palmer is working on finding out the ma consumption of the Wii. I, sadly, know nothing except the directions to point you in.

Oh yeah, SS made a wii laptop, so you could always ask him.

Well, you did ask nicely. All I have is the wii DD's sheilding, and I don't want to take off the shielding on my wii so this might not be too accurate, but it will give you good starting sizes.

Wii mobo is roughly 138mm x 192mm
Disk Drive shielding is exactly 140.5mm x 135.3mm

I can verify this. My Wii with screen draws an average of 1.75A . The screen by itself draws 475mA. So the Wii is drawing1.3A or thereabouts. It peaks a bit higher when starting up and loading the disc for the first time.
