Size of 7" display panel?

Can anyone tell me how big a 7" lcd display panel is in inches? Like the ones from backup monitors that are found on eBay and Amazon. I'm wondering if I'd be able to fit one into a JB-65 casing.

Assuming a 16:9 display, a 7" panel would have a viewable area of about 6x3" - then most displays will have around a quarter inch or so of extra material around the screen, though some are larger, and some are indeed smaller.

Ultimately it'd be a tight fit in a JB-65. It may very well fit, but it would leave effectively no room for controls.

I don't plan on having controls.
My build is going to be a simple multiplayer portable. Screen, audio, controller ports, and maybe batteries.
