Screen Mounting Methods/Techniques?

What are some of the methods yall have used to mount screens in a potable case? Maybe make some custom mounts and have the exterior screen hole be a bit smaller then the screen to hold it in? But then it would not be flush...

Edit: actually now that I think about it, maybe I will just epoxy the back side of the screen to my outer shell?

I have used the same kind of double sided tape that you use for replacing cell phone glass. It comes in many different sizes I have 2mm and 3mm. You could optionally use epoxy to ensure it stays put. You could also just use epoxy and skip the tape but the tape will help with position and placement before epoxy

I used hot glue and small pieces of wood to hold it in place
