s-video on NTSC psone screen?

I remember a topic about how to get it on a ntcs screen, but I cann ot find the thread anywhere. So I might as well ask. what must I do to get s-video on a ntsc psone screen?

I swear I saw SOMETHING about getting s-video on an NTSC screen. Dang, I wish I lived in europe.

Well, the PAL screen has some sort of filter chip. I think it splits the Luma from the Luma/Sync signal. So theoretically if you got a pure Luma signal it would be possible.

Of course I'm probably totally wrong.

Remember in my nes thread? the scren goes to black and white after a few seconds everytime I use composite on any system.

If the composite is broken chances are the s-video would be too if it was possible. If RGB works, maybe you could trade it to someone?

I son't know if it works or not as I have not tested it.

It would be no use anyway since I was planning on using it for nes, which only outputs composite.
