Do I need this resistor for the gamecube to still work? My friend was desoldering my gc and I took a loot just now and it was loose, just a few minutes ago it came off but luckily I still have it (really small)

Just wondering if i Need it to keep my gamecube working.
I don't think there is a way i could solder this back on and I havent hooked it back up to power.

I've seen some cuts and people could remove most of the board by soldering some things around.
Help would be appreciated

you should be good, that looks like it goes to the av, people solder directly to the chip, so if thats the case then you should be fine.

Your right, I just dont no why in the other revs it isnt cut. You should be safe then, bu i think you have to solder directly to the chip

ok so, does anybody know if it's ok to power it up? like right from the original power regulator?
as in if i were to put it all back together and plug it into the wall
