replacing a AAA battery with watch sized batteries

I was wondering if there was a way that you could wire up certain sized small watch batteries to mimic a triple A battery. Any help would be great guys, thanks.

Could I just use a 1.5v watch battery? and wire them in parallel to increase the capacity?
