Questions about reallocating regulator board.

Hi, I have some questions to do this: should I remove the connector on the regulator and on the mobo before soldering the wires or should I solder the wires directly on the connectors ?
On the mobo, i can do it without removing the port, because on the other side of it, the pin are accessible:

But on the regulator, there is no pins...

Well you can do it ether way. I soldered onto the plug part of the reg and then the bottom of the port on the GC just to test it. But if you take the plug off you have to snap the legs going up into the plug.

It's like for the others ports right ? For GBA, bba and dbug port, there was legs that didn't come with the port when I removed it. I soldered off it or snapped it.

Yeah, you should remove the ports. It really doesn't matter if you take them off or not I guess, but they take up pointless room and I think it's easier to solder on the empty pads anyways.
