psone screen odd video

Ok, i have my nes hooked up to my psone screen, but for some reason there is this small area in the left side that shows now image. Well, it shows stuff, but usually it is the color of the game's background.

It's hard to explain so I will show you guys.

see what I mean?

now my nes does not do this when hooked up to my crt television, but it does the same thing (except worse) on my widescreen dvd player.

Maybe this is normal and I just have not noticed this before but I would like another opinion on this.

That happens with me to, but only when i'm using the NES.

The nes does have an RF booster thingy majiger.

It's just the NES. The screen is fine, the NES does that by itself.

ah, good. That's what I thought. Not annoying really, but I thought there might be a problem.

now I can see that the screen is working perfectly because I hooked my LD player up to it and watched the terminator 2 without the bars.

Yep, if you look at Hailrazer's Genimini, it has the same thing. I don't think anything Super Nintendo and newer have this border.
