Just relocated the cart slot:

But it's "sleeping" :wtf:

I didn't do anything to make it, it just happened. Nothing bridged, nothing broken.

Maybe the wires are too long. I know its not fried.

meh.

Check to make sure 3.3v is still going across the board, and input your 7.2v into the 7805. From there, basic troubleshooting techniques apply.

My 7.4v is into the 7805, but where else does 3.3v go besides that one cap by the 7805?

I'm pretty sure it's C69, I remember discussing this once, but I believe that is the side that B_M is connected to already. If you look on the back of the board, you can probably locate the two large 3.3v traces, and how they both lead up to the cart slot, which is where it is cut off at. Scrape, flux, and solder a short but thick wire across there and tada. I also think you can accomplish the same thing by reconnecting 3.3v to the 3.3v pin on the switch.

Well, I found the trace. It worked then.

I wired some other flax up, and my iron slipped and disconnected the wire without me realizing it.

It didn't bridge anything, but the board fried when I tested it.

WITH THE EXACT SAME SETUP I WAS TRYING TO RUN IT AT FOR HOURS WITHOUT IT FRYING.

flax SUX.

Still, that is always the first thing I do when I chop a board. Eurddrue and I learned this magical fix when we(I) first finished my RCP relocation, we were troubleshooting it. Magical moment for me.
