Welp, if you don't want the unnecessary bullflax, don't post the unnecessary bullflax thread that asks a question clearly answered in the megasticky.
 
I don't know what the mega sticky is, but I don't think me posting this question should mean that everyone should get mad at me cause i didn't capitalize my sentences, all i wanted was a how to on something, nothing els. It's not a bullflax question.
 
The megasticky is the first thread in every forum. You know, the stickied one. The one that has all the guides that have been made and all the worklogs for completed projects for each section.
Not that it's useful or anything.

I mean, it's not like the stickies are there for a reason or anything.
 
It is bullflax when you post questions that have been answered thousands of times. It's even worse when your questions are hard to understand. I usually don't even read poorly typed sentences.

Now, to prevent this from happening in the future, spend a few minutes searching the forums. Search the section that pertains to your query. Didn't find it? Try the search function. Still nothing? Google it.

Google didn't help you with at least one of the million search results? Then ask it here.

Bam, we shouldn't have this problem anymore.
 
Dude, I did Google it, for like the 3rd time, and what search function? I can't find that! This is too complicated!
really thought you guys would be a little understanding of someone new. I don't know what a sticky is. How the *Can'tSayThisOnTV* am i to know to look there?
There really should be some easy to find thread for someone that's new. THAT is how you solve problems like this, cause there is always someone new.
I'm done asking for anything on this damned site.
 
Yes! I got a poor drawing and blurry photos with little explanation. I always google stuff, then google takes me here.

I wanted to ask questions about things i don't understand. The top of the site says "Learn, Build, Mod" but it seems I cant ask questions without being talked down to.

I really don't understand how I'm wrong here. If I'm new, and unfamiliar with the website I should get some explanation before i make these mistakes.
 
You're being told you're wrong because you completely ignored the guides and information that is already there for you. Look at the gameboy, then look at the guides. It's retardly simple.
 
There is no rule against asking questions. However it is in your best interest to not ask questions that have already been answered. It is redundant and only serves to annoy the rest of the community.

I didnt know this question was answered, I couldn't find it. If I knew what a sticky was, I would of looked in the mega-sticky.
I hope every other newcomer didn't have to learn this way.
 
The megasticky is the thread that is clearly labelled Mega-Sticky, it's not hard to find and nobody else has any trouble locating it.
 
I don't think you understand, I know what it is, I didn't at the time. and saying the mega sticky is the mega sticky is a poor definition.
 
It's not a poor defenition, the mega sticky is the thread at the top of every console sub-forum titled Mega-Sticky, it's super easy to find and read.
 
Still doesn't change the fact that if you stopped being so dense and kept going "DUDE THATS A BAD DESCRIPTION LOL" you might of actually found something yourself.
