Open Disk sensor

I was pondering if instead of the spdt switch i see mostly everyone used to simulate the dd lid being open for the wiikey, couldn't I use a normally closed switch? Also, instead of bulky push button ones, do they make a tactile style switch thats normally closed that would work for this?

Was kinda looking at this form factor

But all i can find is spst.

Guess i should just visit radio shack and get a visual of how big the other switches are.
